About the Scientist
Daniel is a PhD student at the Chair of Privacy and Security at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. His research focuses on anonymous communication networks and includes practical aspects in implementation, performance and security evaluation of these networks. Also outside of research, practical data protection and open source projects play a role for him.

During his studies, Daniel gained valuable experience as a tutor for the lecture "Operating Systems" (over 4 semesters). In addition, as part of the ODYSSEE team he developed a web application to manage the "Practice of Software Development" from 2017 to 2018.
