About the Scientist

Àlex Miranda-Pascual is a PhD researcher at the Privacy and Security Chair of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He has a background in pure mathematics, with a special interest in group theory and probability theory. His research topic is on the protection of trajectory data with formal privacy guarantees, in particular, working with differential privacy. He is currently working on utility-enhancing results for trajectory data.
