About the Scientist
Àlex Miranda-Pascual is a PhD researcher at the Privacy and Security Chair of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He has a background in pure mathematics, with a special interest in group theory and probability theory. His research focuses on developing new differentially private techniques and studying existing ones, improving the privacy-utility tradeoffs of differential privacy. He has also worked with trajectory data and its protection under differential privacy.
